One of the most athletic defensive backs in the history of the football program, Ferraro will be one of seven new members to be honored this October in the university’s annual ceremony.

A two-time team captain, Ferraro demonstrated every single season that he was able to play a variety of positions for the Beacons. When the program ended in 2000, Ferraro remained the all-time leader in interceptions, punt returns, and punts.

He also led the 1992 defense to the second best national ranking, and finished third all-time in tackles. On special teams, Ferraro recorded the third longest punt return for a touchdown in school history.

His standout play made him an easy candidate for all-conference selection, and he was named a Second Team NEFC Defensive Back and Punter in 1990. In 1991 and 1992 he was named a First Team honoree. It was also in the 1992 season that he earned regional recognition as he was named Associated Press All-New England Defensive Back.
