Perhaps one of the greatest dual sport athletes to ever competeat UMass Boston, Ciarletta was a four-year member of thewomen’s hockey program and softball team.

While with the women's ice hockey Ciarletta cemented herposition as the all-time leader in points with 167 and goalsscored with 98.  The program’s only USCHO.com PreseasonAll-American, Ciarletta currently holds the NCAA Division IIIrecord for most shorthanded goals in a game with two.  An ECACEast Rookie of the Year honoree, Ciarletta holds numerous game andsingle-season records at UMass Boston, including the record forgoals in a season as a freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior.

On the softball diamond her accomplishments were just asimpressive, as she finished her career second all-time in gamesplayed with 119.  She swatted 46 hits to hold theprogram’s all-time third-place record, and currently reignsas the all-time RBI leader with 76.  Her 192 total basesreached is the most ever in UMass Boston softball history, whileher 218 career assists ranks second all-time.  She is also theonly player in the program’s history to be named a four-timeLittle East All-Conference selection, having been named second teamin 2004, 2006, and 2007, and first team in 2005.
