The all-time career and single-season leader in strikeouts with234 and 82, Conway becomes the first player during head coachBrendan Eygabroat’s tenure to be named as a Hall of Fameinductee. A freshman when Eygabroat took over the baseball program,Conway was instrumental in leading the Beacons to four consecutiveLittle East Conference tournament appearances—a programfirst.

Named the 2006 and 2008 Little East Conference Pitcher of theYear, Conway also grabbed 2008 LEC First Team All-Conference honorsas well. On top of holding the career and single-season mark forstrikeouts, Conway also stands as the program’s all-timeleader in innings pitched in a career with 245.0. His 86.0 inningsof work, which he recorded in 2006, still remains the single-seasonbest at UMass Boston.

He also stands second all-time in career wins with 14 and isthird all-time in career appearances with 45 and earned run averagewith 3.49. His 15 and 12 K’s in a single game still stand assecond and fourth most all-time respectively.
