LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 386 student-athletes from 161 schools who comprise the 2026 NFCA Division III All-Region teams. Among the Region II honorees, UMass Boston senior third baseman Lauren Miner (Millbury, Mass.) was named to the All-Region First Team for a career year with the Beacons in her final season.
Miner was one of the most explosive offensive players in the Little East Conference in 2026. She slashed .402/.471/.787 across 38 games, collecting 49 hits with nine doubles, four triples, and a team-high 10 home runs to go along with a team-high 50 RBI. She also stole 19 bases in 21 attempts and scored 37 runs on the season, making her one of the most dynamic threats in the Beacons' lineup from top to bottom.
The Beacons finished the 2026 season with a 27-13 overall record. For her efforts during the regular season and Little East Conference Tournament, Miner earned All-LEC Second Team honors. She now continues her postseason haul with an NFCA All-Region First Team selection, making her eligible for NFCA All-American honors.
