Boston, MA (July 14, 2026) – The University of Massachusetts Boston Department of Athletics and Recreation is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 Beacon Club Golf Classic presented by the Massachusetts Army National Guard, taking place on Monday, August 24, 2026, at the beautiful Waverly Oaks Golf Club in Plymouth, MA.
Hosted by the Beacon Club, this signature event brings together alumni, friends, and supporters for a day of golf, camaraderie, and philanthropy, all in support of UMass Boston student-athletes.
For the last three years, support from the golf outing has been utilized to engage world-class performance coach Dr. Amy Baltzell. Amy works with and meets weekly with our student-athletes in one-on-one and group sessions to help develop the mental side of their game, and based on their work with her, we have seen tremendous strides in success both on and off the field, court, and track.
