PROVIDENCE, R.I. (May 6, 2026) -- Following the conclusion of the 2026 Little East Conference Women's Lacrosse Tournament, three members of the Beacons' program have been selected for postseason all-conference honors.
UMass Boston's haul includes one All-LEC second Team selection, and two All-LEC Honorable Mentions.
Teresa Sheedy – All-LEC 2nd Team (Midfielder)
A Senior from Quincy, Mass.; Sheedy entered her senior year with elevated expectations following a 35-point season as a junior. She not only exceeded that total this season, improving to 38 points to lead all Beacons, but improved drastically as a distributor. Sheedy increased her assist totals from six as a junior, to 15 in her senior season. Sheedy is the first UMass Boston Women's Lacrosse player to be recognized as a member of the All-LEC team in program history.
Angelina Mazzone – All-LEC Honorable Mention
A Senior from Beverly, Mass.; Mazzone has become a perfect example of consistency and improvement for future generations of Beacons. Following a stellar 19 goal junior season, Mazzone started 17 of the 18 games for the Beacons and finished with 25 goals, tied for second amongst her teammates. Mazzone also displayed her ability to play well in every segment of the game, winning 39 draw controls and causing 15 turnovers this season.
Morgan Holohan – All-LEC Honorable Mention
A Freshman from Averill Park, New York; Morgan Holohan has quickly become a name to remember for future UMass Boston seasons. It often takes time for freshmen to adapt to college lacrosse; that has not been the case for Holohan. Morgan led all Beacons with 27 goals in her 16 appearances in her inaugural season with UMass Boston, setting up an exciting and prospective four-year tenure under Head Coach Hannah Khin.
