PROVIDENCE, R.I. (May 6, 2026) -- UMass Boston Women's Lacrosse Coach Hannah Khin has been recognized as the 2026 Little East Conference Coach of the Year following the Beacons' 5th place finish in the conference this season, and the program's first ever postseason appearance, just three seasons into its conception. 

The inaugural women's lacrosse coach for UMass Boston, Khin has immediately proven herself to be a rising figure in the world of coaching. In 2025, the Beacons finished their first LEC season with a 1-7 conference record. Coach Khin, her staff, and her players together improved that mark to 4-5 in the LEC this season, placing 5th overall, and gaining a berth in the LEC Quarterfinals.  

This is Khin's second coaching honor following a win of the SCIAC Coaching Staff of the Year award in 2019 while the Head Coach of Occidental College in Southern California.
