PROVIDENCE, R.I. (November 10, 2025) – After an impressive final week of the regular season, sophomore middle blocker Addie Blomgren (Riverside, Ill.) and junior outside hitter Mya Perron (Beverly, Mass.) have been named the Little East Conference Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, respectively.
Blomgren earned her first career LEC Defensive Player of the Week honor after dominating at the net with ten total blocks across two matches — including a solo block in each contest and four assisted blocks per match. Her strong defensive presence brought her season total to 97 blocks.
Perron collected her first LEC Offensive Player of the Week award after powering the Beacons' attack, recording 19 kills on 46 attempts for 3.16 kills per set and a stellar .413 hitting percentage on the week.
UMass Boston secured the No. 2 seed in the LEC Tournament, earning a first-round bye. The Beacons will host the winner of the No. 3 Keene State vs. No. 6 Plymouth State matchup on Thursday at Clark Gymnasium.
