BOSTON, MA (March 21, 2024) – The UMass Boston men's track and field team swept the Little East Conference's weekly awards for the week of March 10
th, to March 16
th for their performances at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational from Myrtle Beach South Carolina, during their Spring Break road trip.
The Beacons' first-year
Brady Poirier takes home the LEC's Field Athlete of the Week award, as he finished 33
rd from Myrtle Beach with a mark of 37.43m which currently ranks him 10
th in New England in the Javelin throw.
Junior
Isaiah Stressman takes home the Track Athlete of the Week award following his performances in the 400m, 400m hurdles, and the 4x400m relay. Stressman finished 15
th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 59.66s currently ranking him seventh in New England, and finished 20
th in the 400m dash with a mark of 53.21s, ranking him 13
th in New England in the 400m dash.

Derrick Touba, sophomore
Elmani Debarros, and first-year
Hugo Dos Santos brings home the men's Relay team of the week for dropping a 45.10s that currently ranks them third in New England.
The Beacons men's track and field team takes back the spotlight on March 30, from Tufts University in Medford, MA as they take on the Tufts University Snowflake Classic.
