Jimmy Cannon was named Second Team All Conference in the Men's 5,000 Meter Run while freshmen
Rob Cannon and
Frank Boua made the All-Rookie Team in the Men's 10,000 Meter Run and Men's 400 Meter Hurdles respectively, as announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon.
Qualifying for the All-New England meet being held at Northeastern next week,
Jimmy Cannon placed second in the Men's 5,000 Meter Run at the LEC Championship this past weekend, finishing with a time of 15:29.90, just eight seconds shy of his personal best this spring.
Younger brother
Rob Cannon's personal best at the LEC Championships in the Men's 10,000 Meter Run, netted him a spot on the All-Rookie Team as he finished sixth overall with a time of 34:04.74, nearly 30 seconds faster than his previous best at the Tufts Snowflake Classic.
Slowly making a name for himself this spring as a freshman,
Frank Boua was named All-Rookie Team for his performance at the LEC Championship in the Men's 400 Meter Hurdle, posting a 1:02.06 and placing seventh overall.
