Jimmy Cannon won the Men's 800 Meter Run in a time of 2:04.58 while freshman
Rob Cannon placed second in the Men's 1,500 Meter Run in 4:25.80 to help lead UMass Boston Men's Track and Field to a 36-point afternoon and sixth place finish at the Regis Spring Classic on Thursday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In addition to their top three finishes,
Jimmy Cannon also placed fifth in the Men's 400 Meter Run in which he finished in 55.77 seconds to earn the Beacons two more points on the afternoon.
Freshman Melvin Wiltshire brought home six points for UMass Boston across two different running events. Wiltshire notched two points after placing fifth in the Men's 100 Meter Run with a time of 11.73 seconds and four points in the Men's 200 Meter Run with a fourth-place finish in 23.76 seconds.
The freshman tandem of
Frank Boua and Austin Hennebury rounded out the scoring for the Beacons on Thursday, finishing third and fourth respectively in the Men's 400 Meter Hurdles with times of 1:04.66 and 1:17.84 in the event.
