The All-American forward also grabbed 13 rebounds to post her 11th double-double of the year. With her 13 boards, Murphy now sits just 31 rebounds away from her 1,000th.
Also having a big game for UMass was Grace Geary (Falmouth, Mass.) who finished with 12 points on 4-of-12 shooting, 3-for-10 from behind the arc. The sophomore also handed out six assists, and picked-up a pair of steals in the win for the Beacons.

The Beacons held the Mules to single digits through the first 11:24 of Saturday's non-conference game. They dominated the first two quarters as they outscored Colby 30-19. Murphy combined for 14 points and nine rebounds before the halftime break. After the intermission, UMass pounded Colby in the third as they dropped in 22 points, while holding Colby to just 14.
