UMass Boston would eventually cut the deficit to 13 midway through the second half on a Marina Kelly (Whitman, Mass.) layup, only to have the Warriors push the lead to a game-high 26 in the waning moments.
The Beacons will have a quick turnaround, as they will host the other Little East Conference league leader, UMass Dartmouth, Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m.
