Boston, MA – The University of Massachusetts Boston Division of Athletics and Recreation is proud to announce its third annual Beacons Day of Giving, taking place April 8–10, 2026. This year's theme, "Building Champions," highlights the division's commitment to developing student-athletes who excel in competition, in the classroom, and in the community. 

Over the course of the three-day campaign, alumni, fans, families, and supporters are encouraged to come together to invest in the future of UMass Boston Athletics. Gifts made during Beacons Day of Giving directly support student-athlete success by enhancing resources such as training equipment, travel opportunities, technology support, and program development.

Beacons Day of Giving has played a vital role in strengthening UMass Boston's athletic programs and creating new opportunities for its student-athletes. This year's campaign aims to build on that momentum, with team-specific challenges, donor matches, and engagement initiatives designed to maximize impact and participation.
