PROVIDENCE, RI (April 30, 2026) – Following the completion of the Little East Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the conference offices announced this year's postseason awards, with four Beacons earning All-Conference honors for finishing top-three in their respective events, while senior
Aryianna Garceau (Boston, Mass.) was once again named the conference's Track Athlete of the Year for the fourth consecutive season.
At the LEC Championships. Garceau earned All-Conference First-Team across four separate events for sweeping the 100m, 200m and 100m hurdles along with long jump, scoring 40 of the Beacons' points at the Championships. She has also won LEC Track Athlete of the Year each season dating back to the winter of last season (2025).
Below is a list of season accomplishments for Garceau in her 2026 outdoor campaign:
- Ranked No. 1 in NCAA Division III in the 100 Hurdles with an all-time DIII record time of 13.38 recorded at the Texas Relays.
- Ranked in the top-25 in DIII in the 100 Dash (22nd, 11.93), 200 Dash (17th, 24.36) and 400 Hurdles (24th, 1:02.94).
- Topped the podium in each of her four events at the 2026 LEC Championships, claiming victory in the 100 hurdles (13.77), 100 dash (12.01), 200 dash (25.00) and long jump (5.76m).
- Her 100 hurdles prelim time of 13.74 is a new LEC Outdoor Championship record, as is her top mark in the long jump that ranks 16th in the nation.
Joining Garceau among the All-Conference selections on the women's side; Senior's
Jacqueline Earner (Abington, Mass.) and
Shea Roche (Weymouth, Mass.). Earner took third in the women's 800m dash for All-Conference third-team honors, while Roche took second in both the 1,500m, and 5,000m runs.
On the men's side,
Justin Riley (Weymouth, Mass.) was the sole representative for earning All-Conference third team honors in the 110m hurdles, where he took third place at Championships while setting a new UMass Boston school record in the process.
Select qualifiers will continue their season at the NCAA DIII Regional Championships hosted by Springfield College on May 1-2.
