Feliz Lands Podium in High Jump; Riley Races Hurdles at NEICAAA Championships

BOSTON, MA (March 7, 2026) — UMass Boston men's track and field competed at the NEICAAA Championships on Saturday at the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center in Boston, facing off against top programs from across the region. The Beacons finished 19th overall with 6 team points, highlighted by a podium finish in the high jump from freshman Liam Feliz and a hurdles appearance by senior Justin Riley.

Liam Feliz (Boston, MA) soared to third place in the men's high jump, clearing 2.01 meters (6-07.00) to secure all six points for UMass Boston and notch a podium finish in a deep championship field.
Justin Riley (Weymouth, MA) raced in the men's 60-meter hurdles, finishing his heat in 8.69 seconds to cap his senior championship appearance.

What's Next

UMass Boston will now look ahead to the upcoming 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships to close out the indoor season.
