PROVIDENCE, R.I. (February 16, 2026) – The Little East Conference announced its weekly award winners Monday, with two members of the UMass Boston track and field program earning conference recognition following their performances at the Harvard Crimson Invitational.
Aryianna Garceau (Dalton, Mass.) was named LEC Women's Track Athlete of the Week, while Liam Feliz Montilla (Boston, Mass.) garnered LEC Men's Rookie of the Week honors.
Garceau recorded a season-best time of 8.37 seconds in the women's 60-meter hurdles, finishing third overall. Her time was just 0.02 seconds shy of her own school record and only 0.04 seconds off the NCAA Division III indoor record, further solidifying her position as the nation's top-ranked competitor in the event.
Feliz Montilla set a new personal best in the men's high jump, clearing 1.98 meters to finish fourth overall at Harvard. His mark currently ranks first in the Little East Conference this season.
Garceau, Feliz Montilla, and the Beacons will conclude the indoor regular season on Saturday, February 21, at the 2025-26 Little East Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships in Plymouth, New Hampshire.
