Providence, RI (Mar. 16, 2026) --- Ben Sherry (Fall River, Mass.) earned his first LEC Rookie of the Week honor following an impressive week of performances for the Beacons highlighted by a .556 (10 for 18) batting percentage with five RBI and five runs scored in a 3-2 week for the Beacons.
He opened the week by going 4-for-5 with a double, four RBI and two runs scored in a wild 22-16 win over MIT, and capped it with a 3-for-4 performance with two runs scored and an RBI in a 13-11 victory over Ohio Northern. Sherry also recorded a 2-for-3 effort against Western New England and went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in a 21-5 rout of Stockton.
