Box Score **LAKELAND, Fla.** (Mar. 14, 2026) – UMass Boston baseball snapped a two-game losing streak in emphatic fashion, exploding for 19 hits in a 21-5 run-rule victory over Stockton University in seven innings at the RussMatt Baseball event. The win moves the Beacons to 3-4 on the season.
The Beacons' offense was relentless from the start, scoring in every inning. They jumped out to an early lead in the first when Elliot Miles (Portsmouth, NH) scored on a sacrifice fly from Jayden LaFleur (Dighton, MA). The onslaught continued with four runs in the second inning, highlighted by an RBI single from LaFleur that scored Nick Farnacci (Farmingdale, NY). UMass Boston broke the game wide open with a five-run, six-hit third inning to extend the lead to 11-0 and never looked back, cruising to the decisive victory.
Miles had a perfect day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with four RBIs, three runs and a walk. Farnacci also scored three runs while going 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Breon Parker Jr. (Springfield, MA) led the team with three runs scored. On the mound, starter Cameron Fisher (Canton, CT) earned the win, pitching five strong innings while allowing just two earned runs and striking out five. As a team, the Beacons showed excellent plate discipline, drawing 11 walks against just five strikeouts.
