Providence, R.I. (January 5, 2026) --- The Little East Conference announced UMass Boston's Kaydie Sturm as this week's LEC Rookie of the Week, the first in her career. 

Sturm had a career day in UMass Boston's 93-34 rout of Fitchburg State on New Year's Eve, scoring 25 points on 7-of-13 shooting from three-point range to lead all scorers and more than double her previous career high of 11 points.
