South Hadley, Mass. – Seven members of the Beacons men's lacrosse team have been named to the 2025 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-Academic Teams, as announced by the organization on Friday afternoon. A total of 354 student-athletes from all three NCAA divisions were recognized. 

Representing the Beacons are Nick Gualtieri, Seth Libby, Shane McGonagle, Sean Cullagh, Timothy Sullivan, Patrick Carey, and Sean Daly. 

NEILA All-Academic Team selections are nominated by head coaches from Divisions I, II, and III. Honorees are student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence both in the classroom and on the field throughout their men's lacrosse careers. 

In total, 59 colleges and universities had student-athletes selected across all divisions. 

To be eligible, nominees must be seniors or graduate students with no remaining eligibility—or no intention of using remaining eligibility in New England—hold a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, and be recognized as impact players for their teams.
