Garceau Blazes to 100m Hurdles Final with All-American Performance

GENEVA, OH (May 23, 2025) – With precision and determination, Aryianna Garceau (Dalton, Mass.) delivered once again on the national stage. The UMass Boston junior hurdler stormed through the preliminary rounds of the 100m hurdles at the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday afternoon, finishing first in her heat and third overall with a time of 13.91 seconds to advance to Saturday's national final at 2:00 PM.

Garceau controlled her race from the first hurdle, distancing herself from the field by 0.29 seconds and finishing just 0.01 seconds behind the second-fastest qualifier overall—Kelsie Sealock of Bethel (Minn.), who clocked a 13.90.

With her section-winning performance, Garceau not only clinched one of eight coveted spots in the championship final, but also locked in her third career All-American honor, adding another accolade to what has already been a historic junior campaign. She now joins an exclusive club of UMass Boston legends to earn multiple All-American honors across consecutive seasons.

Garceau, the reigning NCAA Indoor Champion in the 60m hurdles, now has her sights set on something even bigger: a back-to-back national title and a shot at Division III greatness.

All eyes turn to Geneva, Ohio tomorrow at 2:00 PM, where Garceau will return to the blocks for the 100m hurdles final, chasing another crown and her place in Beacons history.
