AMHERST, Mass. (May 10, 2025) – UMass Boston Track & Field was represented by four standout student-athletes—Aryianna Garceau (Dalton, Mass.), Grace Colon (West Roxbury, Mass.), Shea Roche (Weymouth, Mass.), and Justin Riley (Weymouth, Mass.)—at the 2025 New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) All-New England Championships, where the best from all NCAA divisions compete for regional supremacy.

Riley qualified in the 400m hurdles, wrapping up his outdoor season with a 1:02.61 performance in his All-New England debut. The first-year hurdler now has his sights set on building toward a return appearance next spring.

Colon capped her Beacon career on a high note with a top-10 finish in the women's 10,000m. She clocked a personal-best 39:01.75, shaving four seconds off her previous record to close out a decorated distance career.

Roche followed suit with a major personal best of her own, dropping a stunning 30 seconds in the women's 5,000m. Roche finished in 18:00.97—surpassing her previous mark of 18:31.92 (set on April 12)—to place herself firmly among the region's elite.

Headlining the weekend was Garceau, who stormed to her first-career All-New England title in the women's 100m hurdles with a stunning new PR. Just one week after setting a school record at the Division III New England Championships (13.75), Garceau rewrote the script again with a blazing 13.53 (+2.3 wind)—the third-fastest time in NCAA Division III history under all conditions. She now leads all DIII hurdlers nationally with just two weeks remaining until the 2025 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Geneva, OH.

For those not advancing to nationals, the All-New England meet marks the end of an impressive 2025 campaign. For Garceau, the pursuit of back-to-back national titles and an NCAA record is officially underway.
