Coach's Corner:
Following his first LEC Outdoor Championship at the helm, Head Coach Ozzie Brown shared his thoughts:
"Today was a great day! I am incredibly pleased with our performance as a team. Many ladies and gentlemen stepped up, and not only PR'd, but we had many different scorers who were not projected to score. Three different women won conference titles, and two new LEC meet records on the day. On paper, we were ranked two places below where we actually finished for both teams, but paper doesn't run, jump, or throw — and these young men and women proved just that by showing out!"
What's Next:
Select qualifiers will continue their outdoor season next week at the NCAA Division III East Regional Championships at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn., beginning Friday, May 2 at 10:00 a.m., and concluding Saturday, May 3 at 5:00 p.m. For those not competing, the focus shifts immediately to preparation for next year as the Beacons aim to reach new heights in 2025–26.
