Jimmy Cannon kept the pace for UMass Boston Men's Cross Country, posting a 26:32:00 in the 8K event at the Keene State Invitational on Saturday morning, finishing 16
th overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Similar to the first two weeks, freshman
Rob Cannon lurked close behind his older brother, destroying his personal best (28:08:30) by over a minute as Cannon finished 27
th overall in 27:03:20.
Sophomore
Zeph Alvarado finished in a season-best time of 29:03:80, 47 seconds faster than his all-time best of 29:50:90 set last season, and 54
th overall in the meet.
Junior
Christopher Druding shaved nearly three minutes off his time from last week, going from a 32:22:90 last weekend to a 29:49:80 this week, setting a new personal best as well as finishing 66
th overall.
Junior transfer
Sami Mezrouh who ran last week with the Beacons rounded out the five for UMass Boston, crossing the finish line in 34:32:60 and 119
th overall. Mezrouh's time was over three minutes faster than last weekend as the junior finished in 37:48:80 last weekend.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Beacons will compete for the fourth consecutive week when they head to the James Earley Invitational at Stanley Park in Westfield, Massachusetts next Saturday. The meet is scheduled to kick off at 10:00 AM.
