CONTOOCOOK, N.H. (November 16, 2024) – The Beacons' cross-country team concluded the 2024 season at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds at the NCAA Division III East Regional Championships, with six of the Beacons' premiere runners taking to the course.
Women's Team:
- Junior Shea Roche (Weymouth, Mass.) and senior Grace Colon (West Roxbury, Mass.) were the only two runners from the women's team to lace up. Roche and Colon finished moments within each other, with Roche crossing six kilometers in 24:34.3 (6:35 mile-pace) for a 78th-place finish out of 224 competitors. Colon finished 97th in 25:09.4 (6:44.8 mile pace) for the final performance of her Beacons' undergraduate cross-country career.
Men's Team:
- Sophomore Skye Roberts-Clarke, senior Sebastian Bien-Aime (Brockton, Mass.), and junior Robert Cannon (Quincy, Mass.) took the course to represent UMass Boston on the men's team. Cannon led the pack, crossing eight kilometers in 28:01.2 (5:38.2 mile pace), followed by Roberts-Clarke in 32:06.7 (6:27 mile pace), then Bien-Aime in 36:21.5 (7:18.8 mile pace).

- DIII East Regionals will conclude the 2024 cross-country season. Up next for the Beacons' distance team will join the indoor track and field team for the 2024 Indoor Track and Field season. More information regarding schedule and roster information will be released soon.
