UMass Boston and LEC Partner With BlueFrame Technology

BlueFrame will be the new home of the Beacons Broadcast Network

Lexington, KY (August 11th, 2020) – BlueFrame Technology announced Tuesday it has entered into an official partnership with the Little East Conference (LEC) and its nine member schools. BlueFrame has launched an end-to-end digital network available online and across custom LEC streaming applications for TV and mobile devices. BlueFrame will power the Little East Network (https://www.littleeast.tv) for the next four years.

"Partnering with an industry-leader in BlueFrame Technology will provide an enhanced LEC Network viewing experience for every member of our campus communities, one we look forward to providing when our student-athletes return to competition," said LEC Associate Commissioner Darryl Konicki. "This is the culmination of a comprehensive review of the LEC's digital platforms over the past 18 months. BlueFrame provides the tools for each of our institutions to produce events that have the same look and feel fans are accustomed to seeing from the major television networks."

In addition to advanced distribution technology and streaming apps, the LEC and its member schools will utilize BlueFrame's Production Truck software to produce and stream broadcasts. Production Truck will allow all LEC schools and the conference to produce games professionally with tools like Instant Replay, Social Media Sharing, graphics, and more.

"BlueFrame is so excited to work with the Little East Conference and it's member schools to start providing the new and improved Little East Network," said Josh Braun, Director of Sales for BlueFrame Technology. "Although it's proven to be a unique year with varying challenges, we're so happy to provide a platform that Little East fans will be happy with when sports are able to begin again."

The new Little East Network is now available and will provides fans the ability to watch all games from around the league via a custom network website, mobile apps for iOS, Android, and Amazon Fire Tablet devices, and apps for popular streaming TV devices like Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku.

Beacons fans can still access old webcasts that were broadcasted on EzStream or Stretch Internet through the Beacons Broadcast Network Youtube Page. The BBN YouTube page houses almost all of the home webcasts from the 2014-15 academic year to the present and also features some key playoff road contests.
