Box Score BOSTON, Mass. – Despite a nine save performance from Alyssa Fugiel (Easthampton, Mass.), women's soccer was unable to get back on the winning track as Emmanuel College downed the Beacons 2-0 Tuesday evening at Clemente Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Saints got on the board in the 19th minute on a direct free kick that managed to sneak past Fugiel. The Beacons would combine for just two shots in the opening half, while defensively they limited Emmanuel to just five chances combined.
After the halftime break, the Beacons knew that they could get back into the match with an early tally. However, the Saints sealed their non-conference win with a goal in the 52nd minute from Kaylin Deschenes.
Emmanuel's offense came alive over the final 45 minutes as they peppered Fugiel and her backline. In total the Saints unloaded 16 total shots, while in the Beacons offensive third they managed six shots.
