Aryianna Garceau (Dalton, Mass.) represented the UMass Boston Track and Field team at the Suffolk Relays on Saturday, January 11. There, she set a new personal record of 8.76 seconds in the preliminary 60m hurdles trials, breaking her own previous school record of 8.79s set back in December 8, 2024, at the Beacons' 2024 Indoor Season Opener. With her preliminary finish, she qualified to race in the finals heat among six other NCAA Division I hurdlers, and set another new personal record of 8.65s to take second overall in the event. 8.65s in the 60m hurdles currently leads all women in the event across NCAA DIII.
