Beacons' sophomore Xavier McKenzie (Lowell, Mass.) put the 'shine' in sunshine, as he contributed a career-high 32 points on day one of the Florida Sunshine Shootout Tournament in a 99-77 win against the Penn College Wildcats. McKenzie was 13-18, shooting 72% from the field and knocked down 4 of his 6 3-point attempts. In addition to his 32 points, McKenzie collected 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals.
