Garceau, Roche Lead Women's Track and Field to USTFCCCA Academic All-America Recognition

BOSTON, Mass. (July 21, 2026) — The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced its 2025-26 Academic All-America honorees, with the UMass Boston Beacons women's track and field team earning team recognition — paced by individual honorees Aryianna Garceau (Dalton, Mass.) and Shea Roche (Weymouth, Mass.).

To earn individual USTFCCCA Academic All-America honors, a student-athlete must carry a minimum 3.30 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale and have finished the season among the top 50 individuals on the descending-order lists maintained by TFRRS. Team Academic All-America status is awarded to programs that post a cumulative 3.10 team GPA among all student-athletes who competed during a season of eligibility through the most recently completed semester.

Roche, an Environmental Sciences major, graduated with a 3.72 GPA. Garceau, a double major in Criminology and Marketing, finished her career with a 3.78 GPA.
