New Orleans, LA (April 13, 2026) – For the second consecutive week, UMass Boston senior Aryianna Garceau (Dalton, Mass.) was awarded the United States Track and Field Cross County Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Track Athlete of the Week for a triad of stellar performances over the weekend.
Garceau placed first overall at the Regis Spring Classic in the 100m dash, finishing prelims in 11.93, and finals in 11.98, which currently leads the Little East Conference, and has her at 13th in NCAA DIII.
Following that, at the Silfen Invitational from Connecticut College, Garceau repeated history, rebreaking her previous NCAA DIII record in the 100m hurdles with a wind-legal 13.40 finish to deepen her name in the DIII history book.
This week's recognition marks the second consecutive and third career honor for Garceau.
Garceau and the Beacons track and field team continue the spring season this Friday at the Bonnie Edmundson Classic from Willimantic, Connecticut, beginning at 9:00 AM.
