PROVIDENCE, R.I. – A total of 352 UMass Boston student-athletes earned academic recognition from the Little East Conference (LEC) following the conclusion of the 2025-26 academic year, highlighted by 101 Beacons earning selection to the 2026 Spring All-Academic Team and 251 student-athletes earning a place on the 2025-26 Academic Honor Roll.

To be eligible for the LEC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must be a sophomore in academic standing, have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher on a 4.0 scale through the previous semester, and have attended their current institution for at least one full academic year prior to the start of the competitive season. 

The LEC announces its All-Academic Teams following the conclusion of their respective championship seasons (fall, winter, and spring).

To be named to the LEC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a semester GPA of 3.00 or better and have been an active member of the team at the conclusion of the term.

Baseball led all UMass Boston spring programs with 22 selections to the Spring All-Academic Team, while Men's Lacrosse followed with 20 honorees. Women's Track & Field added 15 selections, Women's Lacrosse had 13, Softball placed 12 student-athletes on the team, and Men's Tennis and Men's Track & Field each had six honorees.

Baseball paced all UMass Boston programs with 29 student-athletes earning Academic Honor Roll recognition. Men's Lacrosse and Women's Soccer each followed with 27 selections, while Men's Ice Hockey recorded 24 honorees. Women's Lacrosse and Women's Ice Hockey each placed 18 student-athletes on the Honor Roll, with Men's Soccer and Softball contributing 17 honorees apiece. Overall, 251 Beacons across 16 varsity programs earned Academic Honor Roll recognition for their success in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year.
