Boston, MA (May 21, 2026) --- University of Massachusetts Boston sophomore midfielder Tyler Hilgert (Guilford, Conn.) was one of only two players from the Little East Conference selected to the 2026 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III All-New England Team, earning Honorable Mention honors.

Hilgert also earned All-LEC First Team recognition for the first time in his career following a standout 2026 campaign. The sophomore quickly established himself as one of the conference's premier distributors, anchoring the Beacons' top midfield unit throughout the season.

In addition to scoring 21 goals, Hilgert led the team with 28 assists, tying for third-most in the LEC. He finished the year with 49 total points, the third-highest mark on the team, while also contributing two game-winning goals, four man-up goals, and one man-down goal. Defensively, Hilgert added 34 ground balls and four caused turnovers.
