Providence, RI (April 20, 2026) – The Little East Conference has announced this week's round of weekly honorees, with UMass Boston men's tennis sophomore Dominik Dwyer (Dedham, Mass.) claiming LEC Player of the Week for the second time this season.

In the Beacons' 6-1 victory over the University of Southern Maine, Dwyer and partner Mario Pangione (Carver, Mass.) won 6-0 at number-two doubles before Dwyer posted a 6-2, 6-3 victory at number-one singles to lead UMass Boston.

Dwyer was equally impressive in the Beacons' 5-2 road effort at Bridgewater State, where he was one of two singles winners for UMass Boston. He prevailed at number-one singles 7-6, 6-4, advancing through a thrilling tiebreak to secure the victory.

The Beacons hit the road Tuesday (April 22), traveling to Castleton, Vt., for an LEC matchup against the Vermont State University Castleton Spartans at 3:30 p.m.
