PROVIDENCE, R.I. (February 9, 2026) – The Little East Conference announced its weekly award winners on Monday, with UMass Boston track and field senior hurdler Aryianna Garceau (Dalton, Mass.) being named LEC Track Athlete of the Week following a pair of national-level performances over the weekend.
Garceau competed at two separate meets, beginning with the 200-meter dash at the Riverhawk Invitational at UMass Lowell before racing in the 60-meter dash at the Wheaton Invitational on Saturday.
At UMass Lowell, she placed sixth overall with a time of 24.48, ranking her 17th in NCAA Division III. At Wheaton, Garceau clocked a 7.79 in the 60-meter dash preliminaries before closing the weekend with a first-place finish of 7.77 in the finals, a time that ranks first in the LEC and tied for 38th nationally.
Garceau and the Beacons will be back in action on Friday, February 13, at 9:00 a.m. at Harvard University for the Crimson Open/Elite Invitational.
