Men's Soccer Announces 2025 Season Schedule

BOSTON, MA (August 19, 2025) – UMass Boston men's soccer head coach Jake Beverlin has announced the Beacons' schedule for the upcoming 2025 season, featuring 17 total contests, including seven at home and 10 on the road. The Beacons enter the new year following a strong defensive campaign in 2024, when they finished 10-1-6 overall (6-0-2 Little East Conference) and ranked first in the LEC defensively, allowing just nine goals in 17 games to secure the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament.

UMass Boston will open the 2025 season at home on Friday, August 29, against the Salve Regina Seahawks at 11:00 a.m., marking the first of seven home matches at the B.C. High JV Field. Home matches will run from the season opener through the LEC regular-season finale against UMass Dartmouth on Wednesday, October 29, at 12:00 p.m. All home and Little East Conference contests will be streamed live via FloSports. Admission to all home games is free for all sports.

The non-conference schedule features several marquee matchups, beginning with 2024 NEWMAC regular-season champion Babson College in the Beacons' first road contest on Saturday, August 30, in Babson Park, Mass., followed by 2024 NESCAC regular-season champion Tufts University on Wednesday, September 10, at 6:00 p.m. in Medford, Mass. The slate also includes a pair of first-time opponents for the program, as UMass Boston will host Occidental College on
Monday, September 1, at 12:00 p.m. at B.C. High JV Field, before traveling to Swarthmore College on Monday, October 13, for a noon kickoff in Swarthmore, Pa.

The 2025 LEC Tournament is scheduled to begin Saturday, November 1, at a time and location to be determined, and will conclude with the championship match on Saturday, November 8.
