PROVIDENCE, R.I. (June 25, 2025) – In their inaugural season as members of the Little East Conference (LEC), the UMass Boston women's lacrosse team earned the LEC Team Academic Award after posting the highest cumulative GPA among conference programs during the 2024–25 academic year.

The Beacons claimed the honor with a conference-best 3.58 team GPA, marking an impressive debut in their first year of LEC competition.
