Garceau Adds Additional Postseason Honors to Historic Campaign

NEW ORLEANS, LA (May 29, 2025) – UMass Boston's national champion hurdler Aryianna Garceau (Dalton, Mass.) continues to stack accolades, as the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has named her to two major postseason honors. Garceau earned All-Region recognition in the 100m, 200m, and 100m hurdles, and was also named the 2025 Division III East Region Women's Track Athlete of the Year.

These latest awards bring Garceau's spring postseason total to eight, including three All-Little East Conference First Team selections and the LEC Women's Track Athlete of the Year honor.

Garceau shattered both the indoor and outdoor NCAA Division III Championship meet records this season and now owns the fastest 100m hurdles time in Division III history with a 13.54 finish—breaking a 27-year-old national mark. She remained unbeaten in the 100m hurdles from April 4 onward, claiming titles at the NCAA Championships, the NEICAAA All-New England Championships, and the LEC Championships.

With her regional Athlete of the Year recognition, Garceau becomes the first Beacon to earn the honor since UMass Boston legend Wadeline Jonathas in 2018, and the fourth in program history.
