Beacons Travel to Plymouth State Saturday

Boston, MA (April 3, 2025) — The UMass Boston women's lacrosse team is set to face Plymouth State University on Saturday, April 5, at 12pm in Plymouth, NH. 
 

The Basics 

  • Beacons: 5-5 (Overall), 0-2 (Conference) 

  • Plymouth State Panthers: 7-2 (Overall), 1-0 (Conference) 
     

Beacons 

  • UMass Boston is coming off a 17-14 loss to Emerson College on March 31. Junior Jamie McAleavey (Quincy, Mass.) led the way, scoring four goals for the Beacons. 

  • Senior Hannah Rich (Rockland, Mass.) leads the team with 38 points (30 goals, 8 assists). 

  • Junior Teresa Sheedy (Quincy, Mass.) leads the team with 19 caused turnovers.  
     

Panthers 

  • Plymouth State enters the matchup on a three-game winning streak. The two-time defending LEC tournament champions were picked to repeat in 2025 by the LEC coaches. 

  • Reigning LEC Defensive Player of the Year Megan Gaspa leads the team with 28 caused turnovers. 

  • Reigning LEC Offensive Player of the Year Julia Donovan leads with 45 points (31 goals, 14 assists).
