BOSTON – The University of Massachusetts Boston Department of Athletics and Recreation is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, set to take place in September 2025. Beacon students, alumni, supporters, and friends of the university are encouraged to submit nominations for the upcoming class of honorees. 

Established in 2003, the UMass Boston Athletic Hall of Fame honors former student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and supporters of the athletics program for their significant achievements and contributions to UMass Boston/Boston State College. 

Nominations can be made by UMass Boston alumni, students, faculty, staff, and the general public. The Hall of Fame Committee will review all submissions. Along with the nomination form, please include supporting materials such as newspaper clippings, photos, and other relevant documents. 

Nominees may include former student-athletes, as well as non-athletes associated with the department, such as coaches, staff, faculty, and dedicated supporters.
