Marshfield, MA. (Feb. 20, 2025) --- The New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) women's division announced the recipients of the league's major awards, All-Conference, and All-Rookie Teams as selected by the league's ten head coaches. 

Sophomore, Gianna Skrelja, was selected Third Team All-Conference as a defender this season for the Beacons. Skrelja leads the team in points with 11 through her 24 games played. Two of Skrelja's five goals of the season came in the last three games. In addition to her five goals, Skrelja has contributed 6 helpers with her most recent coming against William Smith on February 14th.  

Skrelja has not only made her impact this season on the offensive end of the ice scoring two game winning goals, but on the defensive as well, blocking 30 shots this season, third most on the team.

Skrelja and the Beacons take the ice in the NEHC Quarterfinals against William Smith College this Saturday, February 22nd at 7pm. Admission to the event is free.
