Boston, MA (September 2, 2024) --- Following their 2-0 win over Smith College to open the season, the Beacons hit the road to take on the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT Tuesday, September 3rd at 7pm. 

Starting Strong 

The Beacons scored 6 minutes in and never relinquished the lead to Smith College on Friday. Kathryn Brown scored the Beacs insurance goal less than 4 minutes later to give them the 2-0 win. 

Last Meeting 

The Beacons beat the Bears 4-3 in their last meeting on September 5th, 2023. Kaylee Haynes scored first at the 4 minute mark and Andrea Rivera scored the game winner in the 2nd half. The Bears attempted to rally, scoring the last two goals of the game, but the Beacons held tough to collect the win. 

Julia Cote registered five saves in that match.
