PLYMOUTH, N.H. (Oct. 24, 2026) — The UMass Boston Beacons (6-5-5, 4-1-1 LEC) delivered their most explosive offensive performance of the 2026 season Saturday, erupting for a season-high four goals to defeat Plymouth State University (10-6-0, 1-6-0) 4-2 on the road on Saturday,
The Beacons wasted no time asserting themselves. Just seven minutes in, Devan Booth (Manchester, N.H.) struck from low right — assisted by Daniella Celotto (Prospect, Conn.) and Allie Kondash (Uncasville, Conn.) — to put UMass Boston ahead 1-0. Plymouth State answered in the 30th minute when Islah Godo, set up by Piper Sullivan, equalized from high right to send the teams into halftime level at 1-1.
The second half belonged entirely to the Beacons. Kendall Edwards (Southington, Conn.) broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute, finishing unassisted into the top left corner for her first goal of the season and igniting a three-goal surge. In the 68th minute, Brookelynn Pagach (Hinsdale, N.H.) came off the bench to score her first goal of 2026, converting a Celotto assist to push the lead to 3-1. Celotto then capped the scoring in the 76th minute, finishing off an assist from first-year defender Camryn Trick (Sammamish, Wash.) to make it 4-1. Drea Oswell converted a penalty kick in the 82nd minute to account for Plymouth State's final tally, but the result was never in doubt.
Celotto was the engine of the attack, recording one goal and two assists for four points — the game's leading total — in a performance that lifted her season line to four goals and three assists. Booth led all players with three shots and three shots on goal. In goal, Janiya Morales Matier (North Easton, Mass.) played all 90 minutes and made four saves to secure the win, with Plymouth State goalkeeper Liv Desruisseaux keeping the hosts within reach by stopping 10 of the Beacons' 14 shots on goal.
