Aidan Blake was named to d3baseball.com's 2024 All-American Fifth Team, the first selection of Blake's career, and the most recent d3baseball.com All-American nomination for UMass Boston since 2019 when Nick Herzog and Bobby Tramondozzi were named to the second and fourth team respectively.
Blake's play on the diamond this season has earned him a plethora of recognitions, including All Little East Conference First Team, American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/ Rawlings DIII All-Region, and d3baseball.com All-Region nods.
Blake conducted the Beacons on both sides of the ball, leading them to a 27-16 finish, an LEC regular-season title, and runner-up in the LEC Postseason tournament.
In the 2024 season, Blake recorded a .349 batting average, an on-base percentage of .493, and a slugging percentage of .671, with team-highs in RBIs with 45 and home runs with 9. Blake recorded 51 hits in 146 at-bats, scoring 53 runs in 43 starts in 2024. In the field, Blake led the team in assists with 89, while holding a .962 fielding percentage. Blake helped spin 19 double plays in the 2024 season, totaling 60 over his four-year career in Beaconville.
