PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Over the course of the 2022-23 athletic year, UMass Boston Athletics saw 73 total student-athletes qualify for the Little East Conference's All-Academic Teams. During the fall season, 37 Beacons made the list with another seven being added in the winter, and an additional 29 athletes qualifying in the spring. 

To be named the LEC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be at least in sophomore standing in the classroom, have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the previous semester, and have been at their current institution for at least one full academic year.

Additionally, 305 student-athletes were named to the Little East Conference Honor Roll between the fall and spring semesters. To be named the LEC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a semester GPA of 3.00 or better and have been an active member of the team at the conclusion of the season.
