MANCHESTER, N.H. – After a week away, freshman
Aryianna Garceau returned in a big way for UMass Boston Women's Track and Field finishing second overall in the Women's 100 Meter Hurdle Preliminaries with a time of 15.71 seconds before winning in the finals with a time of 15.65 seconds. Garceau knocked off Division II Southern New Hampshire University junior Emma Hallet who finished in 18.87 seconds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Also returning from a week away was sophomore
Dorinda Okorji who placed fourth in the Women's Long Jump with a distance of 5.06 meters. Okorji took part in the Women's High Jump as well, finishing 10
th overall with a 1.45-meter leap.
Sophomore
Grace Colon continued her climb up the rankings for the Beacons as she finished eighth in the Women's 5,000 Meter Run with a time of 20:46.08.
The Women's 3,000 Meter Steeplechase would be dominated by UMass Boston with four runners all taking part in the event for their first time ever. Freshman
Jacqueline Earner placed fourth in a time of 12:55.52 with sophomore
Sarah Campbell right behind her at 14:49.98 in fifth place. Junior

Abigail Schell also finished back-to-back in seventh and eighth place with times of 15:47.37 and 17:05.88 respectively.
Breakout freshman thrower
Kaitlyn Chirkis took part in the Women's Discus, notching 14
th place with a 27.55-meter throw and taking 11
th in the Women's Javelin with a 30.09-meter mark. Fellow freshman Racquel Batista Viera also participated in the Women's Discus alongside Chirkis, finishing in ninth place with a 30.65 meter throw.

UMass Boston will take part in the meet being held at Regis College which begins next Saturday morning at 10:00 AM.
