BOSTON, Mass. -- Junior transfer Patrick Ramos notched his first Little East Conference Co-Player of the Week award for UMass Boston Men's Tennis as announced by the Little East Conference league office on Monday afternoon.

Ramos began his Beacons' career last week against University of St. Joseph (Conn.) in which he went a perfect 2-0. Ramos competed in the #1 Doubles alongside freshman Maxwell Dill, winning 8-6 over Noah Rivera and Ryan Boucher. In the singles, the junior competed against Rivera in the #1 Singles, going to the tiebreaker set after losing set one 7-5 and winning set two 6-4. In the tiebreaker, Ramos won 19-17 over Rivera to cap off his 2-0 week.

UMass Boston plays their first of three consecutive matches this week starting tomorrow at 3:00 PM on the road against Eastern Nazarene College.
