BOSTON, Mass. – Following up their performance at the Little East Conference Championship, UMass Boston Men's and Women's Indoor Track competed at the NCAA Division III New Englands on Friday and Saturday hosted by The TRACK at the New Balance facility in Boston, Massachusetts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The lone events in which UMass Boston participated in on the first day of the meet were the Women's 60 Meter Dash and Hurdles which were ran by freshman
Aryianna Garceau. Coming off a first-place finish in the LEC Championships for the hurdles, Garceau finished fifth in her heat this weekend in a time of 9.72 seconds while placing 16th overall in the preliminaries.
In the 60 Meter Dash, Garceau placed seventh in her heat and 21st overall in a time of 8.42 seconds in the preliminaries.
On day two of the meet, freshman
Jacqueline Earner competed in the Women's 800 Meter Run, finishing with a time of 2:30.51 which placed her 33
rd overall and ninth in her heat. Sophomores
Harleen Bassan and
Grace Colon ran alongside Earner and Graceau in Women's 4x400 Meter Relay finishing second overall in their heat with a time of 4:35.61 which was good for 22
nd overall.
WHAT'S NEXT
UMass Boston will get set for the NCAA National Qualifier taking place at Tufts University next Saturday, March 4th.
