PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Freshman
Aryianna Garceau and
Jacqueline Earner led the way for UMass Boston Women's Indoor Track on Saturday at the Little East Conference Indoor Track Championship, taking the Women's 60 Meter Hurdles and Women's 800 Meter Run respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Garceau had a big day across the board for the Beacons, starting off by placing fifth overall in the Women's 60 Meter Final in a time of 8.29 seconds which tied her personal finals best in the event.
The freshman followed up her performance with a first-place finish in the Women's 60 Meter Hurdles with a time of 9.58 seconds which was good for 21
st overall in the DIII New Englands this season and broke the program record for the fifth time this season. The previous record was set by Olivia Volante back on January 27th, 2018 in a time of 10.17 which Garceau has shattered five times this season.
Garceau also ran in the Women's 200 Meter Run, finishing seventh in a time of 27.84 seconds and in the Women's 400 Meter Run in which she placed fifth in a time of 1:07.33.
Meanwhile, Earner notched the Women's 800 Meter Run title with a time of 2:25.55 which was a personal best this season for her. The time was good for 69
th in the DIII New Englands this season.
Sophomore
Grace Colon tallied a point for UMass Boston, placing sixth in the Women's 1,000 Meter Run in a time of 3:36.23 in the event.
The Women's 4x400 Relay team consisting of Earner, freshman Angelina Mazzone, sophomore
Harleen Bassan, and junior
Charlotte Millette placed fourth in a time of 4:48.04 which notched them four points on the afternoon.
Colon, Earner, Mazzone, and Bassan teamed up for the Women's 4x800 Relay event as well, placing fifth overall in a time of 11:26.43 to earn two points.

UMass Boston will prepare for DIII New England Regional Championship being held at The TRACK at New Balance on Friday and Saturday of next week in Boston, Massachusetts.
